Coordinator Digital Preservation - National Library of Australia
Professional Bio
Kassi Hays is a librarian currently working in the Digital Preservation team at the National Library of Australia in Canberra. She formerly worked with various physical collections at the State Library Victoria in Melbourne. You may know her from her previous work in zines which she has written about for the November 2018 and May 2020 issues of ALIA magazine INCITE. She also co-presented at NLS9 with Alissa McCulloch “Photocopying the revolution: librarians making zines and changing the world.” With her love of making zines, and her passion for investigating file formats, Kassi has found the perfect balance between the physical and digital as zinester and digital preservation professional.
