Annette began her library career in 2014 at the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, before relocating to Armidale New South Wales in 2017 to work at the University of New England. In 2021, Annette moved to the tropics to work as a liaison librarian at James Cook University, Townsville. Professionally, Annette has been a volunteer member and co-convenor of the ALIA Students and New Graduates Group and was also part of the organising committee for the 8th New Librarians Symposium in 2017. Her professional interests include law librarianship, health librarianship, and the skills development of new librarians in academic libraries. Personally, Annette enjoys pub trivia, writing, and spending time with her ex-racing greyhound - Mickey.
