Alanah Eade is a librarian and recent graduate of RMIT having completed a Graduate Diploma in Information Management in 2021. Alanah has worked across multiple industries including hospitality, retail, and local government customer service before bringing this experience to the public library sector. In 2022 Alanah gained employment in her first library role where she was able to put her customer service skills, eye for visual merchandising, and management skills to use in a public library setting. Alanah is professional member of ALIA and is currently taking part in the ALIA Mentoring Scheme. At the end of 2022 she was successful in obtaining a role as Team Leader Operations with Yarra Plenty Regional Library where she is currently employed.
