Professional Bio
Professor Helen Partridge is the Pro Vice-Chancellor Teaching and Learning at Deakin University. Prior to this she has held leadership roles at the University of Southern Queensland and Queensland University of Technology. Professor Partridge's research explores the interplay between information, technology, and learning. She investigates the ways people experience information and/or technology to learn as students, as professionals, and as people in their everyday life. Professor Partridge has been a visiting Research Fellow at the University of Oxford and Harvard University, and in 2008 was appointed a National Fellow of the Australian Learning & Teaching Council.
Professor Partridge has been active member of the Australian and international library and information sector. She was twice elected to the Board of Directors of the Australian Library and Information association and was appointed a Fellow of the Association in 2012.
